Veneto Nanotech and IMAST support the finalist teams in drawing the business plan to be presented to the Final Contest Jury.
The mentoring aims at preparing the teams to take the fundamental steps for becoming successful entrepreneurs, teaching strategies for raising start-up capital from angel and venture capital investors. Many scientists/inventors have promising technologies but are not skilled in how best to present themselves to investors. During the mentoring finalist teams are helped in drawing the business plan and putting together their investment pitch.
A consultant will be assigned to each finalist team and will examine the draft of the business plan and give a feedback to the teams on conference call.
The feedback on the draft of the business plan will be given on conference call through “Skype”. The mentoring session lasts 1h and 30’ at most for each team. At least one member of each team must attend the call.

The date and time of the mentoring will be communicated by e-mail to each team by the Organizing Committee, once the team has submitted the draft of the business plan.
Deadline for submitting the draft of Business Plan: Monday, October 10th, 2011, 11.59 PM GMT+1 (mandatory for those asking mentoring)
Deadline for submitting the final Business Plan: Monday, October 24th, 2011, 11.59 PM GMT+1 (mandatory for all)
