WISE S.r.l. (Wiringless Implantable Stretchable Electronics) is a start-up company created in 2011 by four scientific partners (three of them under-35) and a seed capital company Agite! S.p.A. The scientific team has a strong background in the nano- and bio-technology fields. WISE has the mission of producing and marketing Implantable Medical Devices through an innovative technology patented by the scientific partners. This technique, called Supersonic Cluster Beam Implantation (SCBI), allows the metallization of stretchable polymers obtaining microcircuits that can sustain extensive cycles of stretching without breaking and are highly biocompatible. WISE will use the SCBI technology for producing a completely new family of leads for neuromodulation (NM) (implanted in the spinal cord or brain of patients for treating neurodegenerative disease like chronic pain and Parkinson) that will be more reliable, less invasive and cheaper compared to existing products: this will make WISE a key player in the NM market.

NanoSpun Technologies Ltd. (NanoSpun) is an emerging-growth technology company. NanoSpun's technology was originally conceived by a research team from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology). Based on its innovative, cutting-edges and proprietary electorspinning technology, NanoSpun vision is to develop the key building block of next-generation filtration, absorption and slowrelease products. Our long-term goal is to become a world-leading provider of nanostructured active materials fibers and/or products for a variety of industries and applications. NanoSpun is currently exploring, researching and developing several products in various applications.
